One uncomfortable dorm bed changed everything

His freshman year at App State, Skyler's dorm bed did its job and nothing else. Pillows fell to the floor by morning; a bare wall remained behind his head; and his room felt the bareness of a jail cell. Seeking a solution, Skyler went to work. He started building headboards in his garage to fix his problem, then he built some for a few friends, and then somehow word spread faster than anyone expected. He did not expect it to go this far: to become the leader in dormitory headboard commerce and design. He just kept building and trusted God with the rest. Now, University Headboards ships to 100+ colleges and universities across the country. He still can't believe that he's gotten to where he is, but he's excited to continue growing, expanding his business into new areas.
